The Nike Daybreak Type Rounds Out The Upcoming “FRESH!” Collection

The Nike Daybreak Type Rounds Out The Upcoming “FRESH!” Collection

Nike Sportswear has been keeping sneaker enthusiasts fresh for decades, but it’s making a conscious effort with its latest collection, aptly-dubbed “FRESH!” Included in the lineup are classics like the Nike Daybreak Type.

Akin to accompanying Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 styles, the forthcoming pair indulges in a number of “Bright Crimson” gradients. Yet, its overall color palette skews more on the side of “yin-and-yang” then the common tonal “colorless” take found in places like the Bronx and Harlem. Plaid detailing moves from the tongue to the collar when compared to the aforementioned silhouettes, but shimmering “FRESH!” tabs keep their real estate on the tongue. Underfoot, the experimental proposition by N.354 boasts an intentionally-yellowed midsole, nodding to the original Nike Daybreak‘s debut in 1979.

Enjoy images of the pair here below, and anticipate a release at select shops come May 18th.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the Nike Huarache has recently emerged in a handful of summer-ready styles.
