Jovani Hernandez First teased via mock-up in mid-July 2020, then confirmed via a Spring/Summer 2021 lookbook launched last August, the sacai x Nike Blazer Low finally arrives across select retailers in Europe and Asia on Wednesday, May 26th.
A follow-up to the Blazer Mid last seen in October 2019, the forthcoming duo maintains the layered look now-often expected from Chitose Abe’s footwear collaborations. Leather profile swooshes and lace guards are doubled, with the top component boasting either a “Classic Green” or “Magma Orange” tone. Rubber reinforcement all throughout the forefoot and mid-foot delivers an unrefined aesthetic that becomes amplified around the heel, which features at least four similar overlays of different shapes and heights. “sacai” branding is kept minimal, only appearing on the double-exposed foam tongue and sock-liner.
