Michael Le An unrivaled piece of baseball history, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1‘s revival was one of the most exciting of 2021. And soon, following quite a few delays, the “Varsity Royal” colorway is due to hit shelves tomorrow.
Last released in 2016, the colorway loosely draws from the Seattle Mariners, displaying the a dark blue atop both the overlays and straps. A white base lies quietly underneath, complementing the “24” that dresses the aforementioned fastener as well as the midsole below. Then, black detailing lays atop, marking the toe’s oversized Swoosh as well as the tongue and tooling molds.
