Michael Le Thanks to the brand’s and the public’s consistent support, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has had quite the moment since the start of 2021. And soon, following the return of its white version, the beloved “Freshwater” colorway is soon to make its way back in black.
While the palette may make use of the same colors, how each is implemented is indeed distinct. The tooling itself, for example, is near fully blacked out, matching the tint of the Air Units within. The mudguard, eyestay, tongue, and strap, however, are identical to the pair previous, though the cannot be said for the forefoot Swoosh and base as they opt for white and the titular “Freshwater,” respectively.
