Michael Le Towards the latter half of 2020, Nike brought back the Dunk High “Goldenrod” in true-to-form fashion. And as we were calmly awaiting even more black and yellow colorways — i.e. the AJ4 “Lightning” and AJ1 “Pollen” — Nike SB comes and throws another into the mix: the Dunk High “Reverse Goldenrod.”
While it may borrow the same tones as its non-SB counterpart, the pair couldn’t be any further from identical. The material used along the upper, for example, is a rough suede, a texture far and away from the smooth leather used along the aforementioned. What’s more, aside from the alternative color blocking, the sole appears lower profile, a likely benefit to overall board feel. Finally, SB branding finishes the tongue as well as the Zoom Air packed insole.
