Michael Le As Kiko Kostadinov made the leap from ASICS collaborator to official consultant, his output has increased dramatically. And as the Bulgarian designer’s Sportstyle line-up progresses, it seems to become more and more futuristic, culminating incrementally with silhouettes like the women’s FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS.
While it resembles the UB1-S at a glance, the silhouette is far busier in construction. Layers upon jagged layers dress the upper, creating a rather dynamic look that aids the “Retro Future” ideas the Kostadinov team currently enjoys. Quilted synthetics, molded TPU, sculpted Tiger logos, and split-colored soles come together cohesively, dressed in either Pink Rave/Olive Canvas or Metropolis/Carrier Grey.
