First Look At The Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder”

First Look At The Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder”

Despite not being in the midst of a milestone anniversary, the Air Jordan 4 has emerged in handfuls of compelling colorways throughout the first six months of 2021. And as collectors eagerly await for the model’s “Lightning” colorway to return for the first-time ever come August, they’ve recently been treated to rumors that a “Red Thunder” option will launch in October.

While not an original colorway, the silhouette’s “Black/Tour Yellow” style from 2006 (and then 2012) served as one of the first retro looks of Michel Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker. The upcoming pair indulges in identical color-blocking to the 15-year-old release, but swaps a vibrant yellow for rich red. Fabric all across the Air Jordan‘s upper boasts a pitch-black arrangement that allows for the scarlet contrast found underneath the mesh profile windows and tongue, and at the TPU laceguards to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, the bulk of the midsole also partakes in the eye-catching tone, while Jumpman logos on the tongue label and heel opt for a white look.

Enjoy detailed images of the two-tone Jordan 4 ahead, and anticipate the pair to hit Nike SNKRS on October 2nd.

For more from under the NIKE, Inc. empire, the Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” returns soon.
