Currently celebrating its 32nd anniversary, the Air Jordan 4 has maintained relevance among the Brand Jordan line of products via a number of special collaborations, made-for-golf modifications and compelling in-line styles. Although the silhouette is still set to launch in more options for the remainder of the year, news has recently surfaced that it’s assuming a “Dark Grey/Infrared 23/Black/Cement Grey” colorway come February 2022.
Expected to follow an identical color-blocking as the “Green Glow” iteration that dropped in August 2013, the upcoming retro has been depicted with shades of grey throughout most of its nubuck upper in early sketches. Bold “Infrared 23” is expected to animate TPU eye-stays, Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, and accent details across the outsole. The Jordans‘ final version will surely include differences, but it’s likely NIKE, Inc. is utilizing the aforementioned color palette given its history. Unlike past propositions indulging in the vibrant red tone, however, the forthcoming pair isn’t anticipated to have opted into a tonal arrangement.
Enjoy an initial mock-up of the Jordan 4 here below, and anticipate official Nike SNKRS launch details as the end of 2021 inches closer.
For more Jordan release dates, the original Jordan 11 Low IE returns for the first time ever on September 18th.
