The Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 Arrives In “Watermelon”

While not quite as controversial as its predecessor, the Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 offers identical levels of performance with considered quality of life upgrades. And alongside, the brand is expanding its run of colorways, adding a vibrant, Summer-ready “Watermelon” to the mix.

Unlike similar schemes, the pair prefers to mute its louder color. The light aqua blue, for instance, is used only atop the forefoot, dyeing deep into the overlaid reinforcement and partially into the midsole. Behind, the engineered mesh opts for a neutral white like the sole underfoot and the lace unit opposite, drowning out the pinks that lightly dress the toe as well as the lateral side. Moreover, for a touch racing influence, checkered patterns can be found along the lace tips as well as the profile’s branded text.

In other news, the adidas 4DFWD Tokyo is equally ready for the track.
