This Nike Air Max 2090 Is Cheering For Team USA

Despite the 2020 Summer Olympics being held a year later, Nike hasn’t dulled their excitement at all. The Swoosh is showing its support for Team USA via a slew of red, white, and blue styles that consist of the Nike Air Max 96 II and more. Adding to these star-studded styles yet another Max Air silhouette—the Nike Air Max 2090.

The pair’s upper is comprised of a layer of white translucent mesh that reveals red overlays and a blue textile base underneath. A white Swoosh outline decal is also found on the upper, specifically on just the lateral side. The lateral side is where the blue mudguard features “USA” printed atop as well. Aside from the translucent mesh, the Air cassette and the heel tab also exhibit a translucent look by opting for an icy blue rubber build. To balance out the instances of blue, the heel loop and zigzag stitching on the mudguard are in red. As a final, commemorative touch, “MMXX” is printed on the midsole, which is 2020 in Roman numerals.

Get a closer look at the AM 2090 below, which will hit Nike.com in the near future at a price of $195.
