Jasmine Tang In celebration of the theatrical premiere of “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” Nike, Converse, and LeBron have come together for a collection of footwear and apparel collection clad in intergalactic themes and fan-favorite Looney Tunes characters. Along with getting her own Nike LeBron 18 Low, Lola Bunny will also be starring on another low-top silhouette—the Converse Pro Leather Low.
Since the Converse Pro Leather debuted in the ’80s as a basketball shoe, it is a fitting model to embrace the live-action/animated sports comedy film on. It flaunts a perforated white smooth leather upper with a stark white rubber sole to match. Both sides feature the signature Star Chevron logo covered in beige fur to imitate the look and feel of Lola Bunny’s coat. On the lateral side, “TUNE SQUAD” is printed next to the aforementioned logo while an embroidered graphic of Lola is applied to the heel. The character’s name is also applied to the heel tab to further embrace the “Space Jam” theme. A pink sockliner and purple branding on the tongue label add the final pops of color to the fun design.
