The Futuristic Converse Run Star Motion Joins The Space Jam Pack

With the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” movie release less than a week away, Nike, LeBron, and Converse aren’t slacking on contributing to their growing celebratory collection. Next to join the pack is a Converse Run Star Motion that embraces a fun, intergalactic aesthetic.

Distorted design lines and a chunky sole make for a space-age silhouette that can best showcase Space Jam themes. The canvas Converse Chuck Taylor-reminiscent upper is covered in a purple galaxy print that has a subtle airbrushed look. The signature All Star badge applied to the lateral sides exhibit warm-toned concentric circles often associated with the introduction of Looney Tunes cartoons. These rings are also applied to the vibrant blue tongue label, which features the Converse text in a cartoonish font. The aforementioned blue also animates the heel loop and lugged rugged forefoot. Black rubber applied to the heel and touched with a single blue star rounds out the out-of-this-world design.
