With ’00s nostalgia dominating the fashion and sneaker scene, Nike hasn’t hesitated to hop on the throwback train by bringing back the Nike Free Run Trail. This Nike Free Run classic will be receiving yet another hike-friendly colorway by pairing “Thunder Blue” with “Cinnabar.”
The orange-burgundy shade dubbed “Cinnabar” tints the model’s mesh base and the embroidered Swoosh on the lateral side. Rather than a sleek FlyKnit construction, the Free Run Trail opts for a perforated hairy suede overlay in “Thunder Blue” to deliver a hike-ready look. Hiking themes continue with the branding on the tongue label emphasizing the word “Trail,” as well as the choice of a “Canvas” tone. The aforementioned cream color is applied to the laces and flexible sole unit, which are often in white, as a way to further create a rugged, trail-reminiscent appearance.
Enjoy official images of the Free Run Trail below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months.
