adidas Forum ’84 Hi “Lakers” Dropping Soon

Home to some of the most iconic names in basketball, the Lakers is nothing short of a household name. And as such, their signature colors have reverberated all across sneaker culture, inspiring Dunk Highs, Answer IVs, and — as officially unveiled here — a special pair of Forum ’84 His.

Slated to release very soon, the Forum strikes a good balance between the rich golds and richer purples. The latter, which arrives in various textures, covers the ribbed finish of the collar as well as the textured suedes of the Three Stripes below. It also dyes the tongue label’s backing, while gilded “84” text complements atop, matching that of the leather overlays adjacent, the trefoil branding further down, and the heel clip even closer to the sole. Elsewhere, a number of white and off-white finishes construct the shoe, creating a rather palatable background on which the aforementioned hues can better shine.

Enjoy an official look at the colorway below and expect sizes to appear on adidas.com within the coming months.
