This Air Jordan 1 Low Utility Caters To Kids With A Bright, Floral Colorway

With the rise of techwear and gorpcore, the need for function has become a big, marketable selling point, inciting brands like Jordan Brand to hop on the bandwagon. And while a long time since their last utility-inspired make-up — likely a result of COVID and quarantine — the imprint is soon to bring back creations like the Air Jordan 1 Low Utility.

Here, the GS audience gets early dibs. It arrives with a youthful colorway, clad in hits of hot pink through the outsole, lace toggle, and extended pulls. Elsewhere, the color appears again in a much lighter shade, matching better the multi-colored laces and the hits of orange that dress both the Swoosh and heel. A white base of leather, then, sits underneath, preventing the palette from becoming too tonally exhausting.
