Air Jordan 6 Low “Dongdan” (aka Beijing) Revealed With Gradient Uppers

Air Jordan 6 Low “Dongdan” (aka Beijing) Revealed With Gradient Uppers

Despite currently in the midst of its 30th anniversary, the Air Jordan 6 has had a relatively quiet year. The return of the shoe’s “Carmine” colorway and collaborations with Travis Scott garnered immense attention, but the model’s milestone celebration has paled in comparison to some of its counterparts.

While most sneaker enthusiasts may not have it on their radar, the Air Jordan 6 Low has recently appeared in a Dongdan (or Beijing)-inspired colorway that’s surely been prepped for the sneaker’s festivities. Clad in a “White/Tour Yellow/Total Orange/Black” color palette and constructed from smooth leather and canvas, the upcoming release indulges in sunset afterglow-like aesthetic. Base panels visible at the forefoot and profiles feature a citrus gradient that lends its “Total Orange” flair to the lace toggle, Jumpman logo on the tongue and sports car-inspired heel tab; bottom heel areas boast an embroidered basketball-and-Hanzi logo. Underfoot, the bold arrangement continues as the semi-translucent outsole reveals vibrant pink, blue and yellow patterns in a number of seemingly-random shapes.

No word has been disclosed regarding a stateside Nike SNKRS launch, but that’ll likely change as autumn rolls around. In any case, enjoy images of the Jordan 6 ahead.
