Since its debut on the court, the Nike Blazer Mid has undergone numerous transformations. Its latest — dubbed the BLZR Court Mid — while not quite as extreme as some prior, takes a good deal of heft from the shoe, offering up a look even slimmer and more low profile.
The tooling seems to be intact if not chiseled down ever-so-slightly. Its exterior walls still bear that slight texture, clad in white across all four debut colorways. Elsewhere, the upper is built thin, its canvas slivers thick and unpadded throughout. But at the toe, a rubberized reinforcement dresses in support of the construction itself or possibly in defense of skateboarder’s tricks. Leather heel tabs, standard lace units, and thick branded embroideries, then, round out the features along the grey, white, black, and red options.
