JJJJound To Begin Releasing Their Vans Sk8-Mid VLT LX Starting August 10th

You know JJJJound. The Montreal-based studio, once a small, digital mood board, has since become a household name, their logo found across apparel basics, lifestyle essentials, and many a collaboration. Soon, the latter will grow by yet another capsule, this time a celebration of Vans’ Style 37 — or, as we know it today, the Sk8-Mid.

Teased back in May, the collection spiritually succeeds the imprint’s Old Skools from 2017 while simultaneously celebrating Van’s deep archive. Originally offered in 1978, the Sk8-Mid precedes even the Sk8-Hi, though it received only a year’s time on the shelves before being entirely replaced by the high-top. Now, the model is an established flagship, one JJJJound honors with carefully selected materials and colors.

While composed of the same premium canvas and suede, the three colorways set themselves apart with shades of black, brown, and olive green. What’s more, they’re to release in that exact order, hitting jjjjound.com on August 10th, August 11th, and August 12th, respectively. A following global release will then hit select Vault By Vans locations come August 14th.
