The Nike Air Force 1 Low Joins The “University Blue” Trend

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Joins The “University Blue” Trend

Although the Nike Air Force 1 Low has done a lot throughout its four decade-spanning shelf life, the made-for-basketball silhouette continues to feel fresh, finding ways to reinvent itself. Its latest proposition doesn’t indulge in new technology, but it delivers a “White/University Blue” color scheme that presents Bruce Kilgore’s in a new light.

Akin to other Nike Sportswear propositions, as well as a handful of options from the Air Jordan family, the forthcoming pair predominantly boasts a light blue makeup. Smooth leather across the entirety of the pair features the titular tone, while profile swooshes, inner lining and midsoles deviate from their surroundings in a “colorless” composition. While the inspiration behind the colorway hasn’t been disclosed, it’ll likely be associated with the University of North Carolina’s team colors, which have been linked to #23.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait for Nike.com release details.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, an NBA Jam x Converse collection is set to launch on August 30th.
