Michael Le Next to this year’s many Retros, the Nike Waffle Trainer 2 largely flew under the radar. But that hasn’t stopped the silhouette from continuing its releases, the next being a stunning mix of “Green Noise” and “Bright Crimson.”
Compared to more recent offerings, this pair is by far the boldest colorway yet. The aforementioned green washes over the nylon base, while a warm-toned “Sport Spice” contrasts along the suede toe and counter. Elsewhere, the Swoosh and heel tab are similarly pigmented, though they opt for the previously mentioned “Bright Crimson. White midsoles, then, round out the tooling alongside blacked out treads; grey finishes touch up the laces and lining; and an aged off-white covers the tongue’s partially exposed yellow foam.
