Nike Dunk Low “Midas Gold” Expected To Release On February 18th

The Nike Dunk‘s two-toned look is iconic, rooted in years of collegiate history. And in the years past, the color blocking has evolved alongside, expanding with combinations far outside the original “Be True To Your School” pack’s offerings. Today, the silhouette — in low-top form — has appeared in a new “Midas Gold” scheme, which could very well be a nod to the 49ers or FSU’s similarly-colored Seminoles.

Through the base, the titular yellow dresses bold, filling in the toe box as it does the mid-panel and collar. The tongue, then, follows suit in nylon, contrasting the branding atop whose “Tough Red” shade is more a complement to the overlays: Swoosh, heel tab, eye stay, and all. Finally, white midsoles round out the entire look, somewhat balancing out the louder hues above.

For a closer look, see the images below. A release, as of writing this, is currently TBD, but expect more details to surface very soon.

Updated February 15th, 2022: A US release date is confirmed for February 18th, 2022.
