Although much can be credited to the success of the Nike Air Force 1 Low, the model’s commitment to adaptation has been one of the most obvious reasons for it’s relevance almost 40 years after debuting. Its most popular arrangements are still tonal ones made from materials originally envisioned by Bruce Kilgore, but modernized, seasonal styles have won the masses over.
In addition to GORE-TEX and insulated options, the sneaker is set to offer styles with faux fur paneling. The hairy, thick material appears at the mid-foot and tongue, leaving the remainder of the Nike Sportswear icon to indulge in a standard build. Shades of “Black” take over much of the pair, but “Light Bone” enters the mix across profile swooshes and sole units. Despite not featuring weather-resistant technology like past Nike Air Force 1-variants, the upcoming sneakers are surely to deliver some enhanced protection during the colder months of the year. And if not even that, at least they boast a compelling, versatile makeup for any outfit.
