Jovani Hernandez Although sneaker and fashion enthusiasts’ desire for the Air Jordan 1 in its original “Black/University Red” (“Bred”) never wavers, Team Jumpman is strategic with its release. Yet, the brand is a lot more willing to utilize the iconic two-tone colorway on slightly-modified iterations of the design. Case in point: The Zoom CMFT-variant.
Exclusive to women, the upcoming pair predominantly indulges in a dark scheme that allows for hits of rich scarlet at the profile swoosh cut outs and collar areas to revel in the spotlight. “White” midsoles underfoot house modernized Zoom Air cushioning, which is denoted by the branding on the tongue label and all-red outsole. Jordan 1 purists will surely criticize the non-standard proposition, but the style will undoubtedly sell-out.
