Jovani Hernandez Since 1985, the Nike Dunk High has assisted the Swoosh in celebrating many special occasions. And while its forthcoming “Official Basketball Merchandise” doesn’t commemorate a real-world event, it harkens back to the fact that Peter Moore’s design has been linked to the sport for decades.
Ostensibly inspired by apparel worn by varsity athletes, the latest proposition from Nike Sportswear dons corduroy panels alongside synthetic leather overlays. A white, navy and green color palette covers the entirety of the sneaker, while a patch of authenticity is placed on the lateral bottom heel. By contest, an accompanying Nike Air Force 1 in features the “OFFICIAL NIKE BASKETBALL MERCHANDISE” logo on the spine.
Head over to Nike SNKRS on September 10th to secure your pair, and enjoy official images of this Nike Dunk ahead while you wait.
Elsewhere in the Swoosh empire, the Air More Uptempo continues to emerge in compelling styles for as part of its 25th anniversary celebration.
