With Russell Westbrook having started a new, purple and gold chapter, it’s only fitting Jordan Brand update his line of signatures. And here, we’re witnessing just that, the third evolution of the price-accessible Westbrook One Take.
From a design standpoint, the One Take 3 is far different relative to the two before it. But though unique in material and paneling, the general shape is still somewhat familiar, offering a rather sleek look from heel to toe. Even the tooling is generally the same save for the more pronounced arch and transparent overlay, with Zoom Air at the forefoot maintaining the same bounce in previous models. Mesh, formerly dominant throughout the upper, is now relegated to the tongue whose texture directly contrasts the smooth, polished synthetics found across the exterior. In colorway, the pair relies primarily on neutrals, dressing much of its base in black and grey. Pops of a salmon pink, then, fill in the blanks, accenting the branding throughout the exterior.
For a first look at Westbrook’s latest proposition, check out the official images below. A release date is sure to be announced within the next few months, with several color options confirmed to release as we embark on the 75th NBA season.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 5 Oreo are here.
