Nike Basketball has a wealth of inspirations to draw from when creating colorways of its signature shoes for its athletes, but few are so close to the vest like the upcoming “Daughters” pack. Coming soon is a series of sig models inspired by the respective athlete’s daughters, proudly representing the #GirlDad movement with playful and heartfelt designs. Seen here is the Nike Kyrie 7 made for KAI’s daughter Azurie; relying on a soft purple, pink, and bright orange colorway, this Nike Kyrie 7 emblazons an “AZ” on the heel with a cutesy illustration of a flower on the heel. That same floral pattern is seen beneath the mesh overlay on the upper as well as the on the exterior eyelets that sit at the forefoot of the shoes.
Other signature shoes part of this “Daughters” Pack is the PG 5 and the LeBron 18 Low. There were, of course, plans to release a Kobe 6 Protro “Mamba Forever” in white/black (a tribute to Gigi), but that release has since been shelved given the ongoing negotiations (or perhaps lack there-of) with the Kobe Bryant estate.
A release date for the Nike Kyrie 7 “Daughters” has not yet been revealed, but we expect these soon for $130.
