Jovani Hernandez The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has steadily been in production over the last handful of years, proffering colorways rooted in Michael Jordan’s professional and personal life and otherwise. Recently, the silhouette has emerged in a “Dark Marina Blue” option expect to release in January 2022.
With similar color-blocking to August’s “Pollen” proposition, the upcoming Air Jordan remixes the model’s original “Royal” arrangement. A slightly-different shade of blue and makeup across the smooth leather upper make it an entirely new option, but one that’s a lot easier to swallow than more experimental-looking pairs. The toe box, mid-foot and ankle panels all opt for a pitch-“Black” look that allows for the titular “Dark Marina Blue” to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, outsoles follow suit.
