Michael Le Regardless of its collaborations, the New Balance 991 has yet to catch on the same way the 992, 550, and 327 have in the past year. But despite this, the silhouette is still one of the brand’s finest and it’s just returned in a brand new “Made in UK” colorway.
Underneath its exterior is a rather true-to-heritage offering. The grey synonymous with the brand itself colors much of the base components, imparting a neutral look to both the mesh as well as the leather supports atop. The sole follows suit, matching past offerings, while the suede overlays loudly contrast in a muted blue shade.
