Having begun 2021 with a reworked reissue of its Jazz Original, Saucony has recently unveiled plans to retro the Shadow 6000 OG for the model’s 30th anniversary.
Launched in 1991 as a performance-running sneaker (and last seen in 2019), the low-top silhouette delivered the perfect balance between forefoot-cushioning, heel stability and overall flexibility. Thus, the pair was touted for its innovative sole unit, especially by long-distance runners. As was the case 30 years ago, the forthcoming retro indulges in a predominantly white color arrangement that’s complemented by hits of grey and navy at the mesh bases, mudguards and profile logos. Red enters the mix on the tongue and heel, animating the Massachusetts-based brand’s namesake. Lastly, outsoles opt for an all-black look that allows the aforementioned details to revel in the spotlight.
The limited edition Shadow 6000 OG arrives via Saucony.com right now for $100 USD.
