Michael Le Lately, Nike has looked towards the past for current inspiration. This upcoming Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 further proves this, its latest appearance an ostensible homage to the iconic varsity jacket.
This colorway, which is one of three so far, seems to pay homage to the Michigan Wolverines as their signature colors are found throughout. Navy brings contrast to the Swoosh, lining, tread, and tongue, the latter of which rounds out the nod by way of its yellow label. Elsewhere, the construction is far more straightforward, opting for a combination of white and Sail leathers.
