The colorway draws inspiration from both the team’s past and present. Their purple signature today is found along the foxing and mid-panel, while the light blue they used many years ago sits both opposite and adjacent. Via the eye stay, lining, tread, and the like, the cool tone rounds out the homage, simultaneously brightening up the upper whose construction elsewhere relies primarily on white neutrals.
Finished with NBA-centered insignia and Diamond dubraes, the offering is due to hit select retailers and Nike.com on October 8th.
