Before the Converse Run Star Hike became one of the All Star Brand’s most innovative inline silhouettes, the lugged-soled Converse Chuck Taylor-variant was a style that was exclusively introduced as part of the JW Anderson collaboration. Kim Jones‘ Converse Chuck 70 is receiving similar treatment as it now joins the mainstay Converse roster as the new Hybrid Function Chuck 70 Utility.
This reinvented Chuck 70 arrives in three different color options: String, Game Royal, and Steel. As demonstrated by the Kim Jones collection, each of the high-top styles features a translucent TPU cage that not only gives the silhouette a sleek edge but also provides durability. The propositions also see a double-stacked sole design, resulting in taller, molded rubber sidewalls. Finally, the signature All Star patch is printed on the medial sides to round out the new take on a classic.
