Unlike the AJ1, AJ4, and AJ5, Off-White’s latest collaborative proposition with the Jumpman — the Air Jordan 2 Low — hasn’t received nearly as much praise. But as we’re still a little over a month out from its release, that could very well change. And it’s likely these official images of the black pair will push many in a more positive direction.
Due to its darker colorway, the tooling’s distressed finishes are a bit more difficult to see. The imitative cracks, which are impossible to ignore on the “Chicago” alternate, blend in even despite the yellow tint applied atop. Above, the construction is far more straightforward, utilizing an arrangement of smooth leather and TPU that’s mostly true to the original silhouette. Virgil Abloh, then, embellishes the upper with Michael Jordan’s signature, his usual Helvetica text, and Off-White’s now iconic zip-tie.
Enjoy a closer look for yourself below. A release is currently scheduled to hit Nike SNKRS and select retailers on November 12th.
In case you missed it, the Dunk High Strawberry Cough could be releasing this month.
