The Nike Air Force 1 Low Joins The “Standing The Test Of Time” Collection Ahead Of 40th Anniversary

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Joins The “Standing The Test Of Time” Collection Ahead Of 40th Anniversary

As the Nike Air Force 1 Low approaches its 40th anniversary, the silhouette has emerged in handfuls of collections. The latest?: Nike Sportswear’s “Standing The Test Of Time” capsule.

Also featuring the Nike Blazer Mid, the lineup celebrates the longevity of various swoosh-branded sneakers. Deviating from original color palettes, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a simple off-white and green style, complete with vintage detailing. The slightly-yellowed sole unit and script messaging on the lateral profile and sock-liner harken back to past decades, while the vibrant tone that animates the profile logos nods to the Nike Air Force 1‘s styles throughout the later 1980s. Silver hardware at the lace dubrae and aglets also denote the sneaker’s special edition, which is well-deserved given how iconic Bruce Kilgore’s design has become.

Enjoy official images of the Air Force 1 here below, and anticipate a Nike.com release soon.
