Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #3 Is Ready For Day Of The Dead

Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #3 Is Ready For Day Of The Dead

Having helped the Utah Jazz dominate the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2021-22 NBA season’s opener on October 20th, Donovan Mitchell is looking to November 1st for the latest iteration of his adidas D.O.N. Issue #3, as the shoe is dressed up for the Día de Muertos celebration.

As with previous iterations of his third signature sneaker, Mitchell’s latest proposition indulges in multiple, colorful graphics across the breathable mesh upper. Decorative, meaningful flora animate the pair’s top-half, while an ornate skull takes over the top of the tongue. Lockdown straps running over the laces at the center of the tongue boast “Day of the Dead” in Spanish in a barely discernible black tone. Elsewhere, hits of orange deliver holiday-appropriate flair to the adidas sneakers, with marigolds leading the charge at the spine and throughout the semi-translucent outsole.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate an adidas.com release soon.
