Nike Sings Along With Liverpool Through This Upcoming Air Huarache

After kicking off their partnership last year, Nike and Liverpool F.C. are about to release some of their first footwear styles. Likely one part of a much larger collection, this recently revealed Air Huarache shines a spotlight not only on the team’s colors but also their signature anthem.

Catered more for lifestyle, the Huarache deviates quite a bit from the jerseys. White is used more dominantly, applied across the leather overlays, nylon toe, and midsole. What’s more, it serves as the foundation for the checkered pattern adjacent, whose red tiles stand further out thanks to their glossy finish. Yellow, then, splits the print down the middle, rounding out the homage to the Liverpool colors. Finally, the heel is customized with a velcro backing, which can be patched atop with either Nike branding or an abbreviation of the iconic “You’ll never walk alone” chant.
