Michael Le Years before ASICS brought back the GEL-LYTE III, they were constantly tweaking the classic past the point of recognizability. And while not quite as extreme as a few of the offerings prior, this recently released GEL-LYTE III RE picks up where the brand left off.
A marriage between the aforementioned and the GEL-Sight, the silhouette is constructed out of parts from both in near equal quantity. And though the tongue may proffer the beloved split design, the rest of the upper is far less familiar, its panel arrangement blurring the lines between the two shoes. Then below, things once again focus in on just one as the tooling is directly ripped from the much chunkier of the two.
