The AF1’s Tri-Swoosh Design Appears On The Nike Blazer Mid ’77

It’s not unlike Nike to tweak their iconography. But more recently, they’ve attempted something a bit different, cutting into the Swoosh itself to provide another instance branding. And after first dressing the Air Force 1, the execution will grace new ground courtesy of this GS Blazer Mid ’77.

The additions don’t seem too out of place due in part to the colorway it sits atop. Partly familiar, the palette is steered by white neutrals, which outfit much of the leather construction, the lace unit, and the midsole. Hits of cream, then, accent the suede additions, while black colors in both the big and small Swooshes stitched onto the side, the larger of which is cut to deliver a second, mesh-backed check.

Enjoy a look at this Blazer Mid here and sit tight as we await the upcoming Nike.com release.

In other news, the Cool Grey 11s are making their way to shelves next month.
