LaMelo Ball is undoubtedly among the NBA’s most talented. And despite sitting out on the next several games, the Hornets Point Guard is still making headlines with his forthcoming Puma collaboration, which was revealed in detail back in October. Now nearing its official release, the shoe is about to start a legacy through the bold “Red Blast” colorway.
Dubbed the MB.01, the signature sneaker is a true collaboration between LaMelo himself and Puma’s designers. Together, the two sought to express the 1-of-1 mindset, printing it atop a tongue laden in the “Red Blast” hue. Down the midfoot, additional logo hits and “NOT FROM HERE” text are laid in black, while the outsole and heel complement with “RARE” and “M.E.L.O.” hits, respectively. And to further materialize these themes of individuality, the collar is clad in floral embroideries and weave-like molds lay across the Nitro Foam midsole.
Enjoy a closer look at the MB.01 here. A release is set to hit Puma.com as well as select retailers on December 16th for a retail of $125 USD.
If you’re looking for something more versatile, the Cool Grey 11s are releasing this Saturday.
