Michael Le As one of adidas’ oldest classics, the Forum Hi is a perfect match for vintage-inspired touches. And this upcoming colorway, despite deviating from the OGs, dials these up much closer to 11.
Through the entire shoe, the leather paneling alternates between bleached and yellowed whites, effectively blending together modern and retro influences. But the latter wins out in the end, as the edges display a natural tan as dark as what’s found on the tongue label and heel tab. Adjacent, greys are used in lesser frequency, imparted atop the collar, tongue, and the suede-constructed Stripes. Finally, as a colorful end note, the pair displays a bright yellow below the counter.
