Michael Le adidas YEEZY spared no expense this December, closing out the year with a calendar full of releases. And among the many standouts, the brand new YZY BSKTBL Knit is one of the most notable, delivering soon in its “Slate Blue” colorway.
In many ways, the silhouette bears a close resemblance to the 350 v2 CMPCT, whose recent appearance also incorporated the “Slate Blue” theme. But the similarities end at the collar, which sits much higher and fastens much tighter thanks to the elastic construction. The laces, too, are longer as a result, ending just a bit shy of the top. Underfoot, the basketball-geared shoe rounds out its design with the YZY QNTM’s tooling, which is ripped from the original and given very few tweaks.
