The Nike Dunk Low “Goldenrod” has been rumored to return during the holiday season since mid-August. And after logistical delays, the pair finally returns stateside tomorrow, December 16th.

Based on the University of Iowa’s athletics programs’ colors, the upcoming sneakers deliver a one-two-punch of flair and heritage. First introduced on the Dunk High via 1985’s “Be True To Your School” collection, the “Black/Goldenrod” combination reprises its role across the pair’s synthetic leather upper. Tongue labels and branding on the heel also opt for the Wu-Tang Clan-friendly color palette, while sole units only indulge in the titular yellow hue. Together, each component creates an arrangement that has not only gone down in Nike Dunk history, but also sneaker culture-at-large.

Enjoy another set of images of the pair here below, as you try your luck tomorrow, December 16th, via Nike SNKRS.
