Jovani Hernandez Set to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2022, the Air Jordan 7 is expected to release in a handful of original colorways throughout the year. In addition to some beloved styles, the 1992-design is also expected to launch in modern-day makeovers like a newly-surfaced “Sapphire” one.
At a glance, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a 1990s-Nike ACG aesthetic, as a sand-like base sets the stage for vibrant purple and pink hits on the tongue, heel and inner-bootie. Mid-foot and collar panels deviate from standard construction, favoring a semi-translucent mesh build that not only helps accentuate the aforementioned hues, but also propels the Air Jordan line into the next 37-years. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit opts for a muted greyscale arrangement, though geometric shapes across the outsole revel in some of the bold tones found up-top.
An official Nike SNKRS release date hasn’t been confirmed by the brand, but the pair is set to arrive in March. In any case, hang tight as you wait for detailed product shots to emerge.
