Jovani Hernandez Nike Basketball is continuously innovating for athletes of all levels, but it doesn’t hesitate to take trips down “memory lane.” For its latest nostalgic effort, the b-ball-obsessed team has prepped a “Hoops Pack” featuring models like the Nike Air Flight Lite II dipped in “University Blue” flair.
Set to include other classic silhouettes like the Air More Uptempo, the forthcoming collection harkens back to the game’s “golden age,” outfitting propositions in retro-inspired, multi-color arrangements. Nubuck paneling throughout the latest Air Flight’s upper indulges in a vibrant University of North Carolina-appropriate hue, with collar lining introducing a medley of colors and patterns into the mix; logos on the top of the tongue also scream “1990s.” Collection-specific logos are stamped onto the sock-liner and spine, while sole units opt for a more traditional white and black color palette.
