Jovani Hernandez The Nike Space Hippie 01 hasn’t reached the widespread ubiquity of some of the brand’s other silhouettes, but it continues to boast a cult-like following.
Created with an emphasis on eco-consciousness, the model’s Space Yarn upper and Crater Foam midsole further contribute to the brand’s “Move to Zero” initiative, as well as deliver a solid year-round color palette. Navy takes over much of the knit upper, with profile swooshes deviating in a citrus-like tone. Nike Space Hippie-specific branding running through the tongue’s center also differ from the dark, near-tonal surroundings, favoring a wine-reminiscent hue. The aforementioned midsole material is presented in a light grey makeup that’s complemented by the confetti-like speckling throughout it.
