Disney’s Bambi Continues adidas Partnership With A Spotted Stan Smith

Nearly the full roster of Disney animated characters made their way onto the Stan Smith in 2021, and it appears as if this broad partnership is headed into 2022 with one of the eldest characters in the line-up. Pictured here is the classic Stan Smith model in a basic white leather, but the spotted tongue label and heel-tab are set to represent Bambi, the fawn destined for a high position in the forest. Of course the film is hardly the cutesy fairytale that we commonly associated with animated films, because the movie deals with one of the gut-wrenching deaths in cinema history.

Moving back to the shoes, the Stan Smith will come housed in a shoebox made with recycled packaging, with a hit of mauve no the uppermost eyelet. Custom insoles that mimic the now-defunct cell drawings further commemorate this collaborative affair. This release, set to drop in January 2022, opens the doors to other characters of the Bambi universe, including Thumper, getting their own footwear.
