Michael Le Before expanding on their sustainable offerings, Nike focused on just four, each a part of the once notable Space Hippie collection. And following quite a bit of time out of the spotlight, the pack’s most popular, the Space Hippie 01, is returning in a brand new colorway.
Unlike the design ethos of the “Next Nature,” the Space Hippie 01 is loud, vocal about its many recycled parts. The sole, for starters, is riddled with scraps throughout, its ripples and platform shape resembling the surface of a crater. Above, the Swoosh exhibits an equally lively appearance, rife with threads of both light and dark blue. Elsewhere, the rest of the upper is kept pristine in its white shade, with subtle hits of yellow and the aforementioned cool tone dressing atop.
