Sneaker News Looks like patent leather will be the move for the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT as official images of a new purple colorway surfaces. This modernized variation of the Air Jordan 1 has been one of the more prolific models in the AJ1 line-up, and thus far reception has been warm due to the great choice in colorways and the high-top cut that mimics the more coveted Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. For its latest appearance, ample use of a glossy purple patent or acrylic is featured on the toe-box, quarter, lace collar, and ankle, while a matte tumbled leather appears at the mid-fooot. Black is utilized at the heel and inner ankle for some contrast, while a white toe-box creates that OG-style flavor.
Purple is also featured on the inner most sleeve-like ankle padding, with the exposed spongy innards to match. Finally, the outsole boasts that regal purple hue at its border, with white curiously flooding its insides.
We certainly expect more of these patent leather Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFTs to emerge at the start of 2022, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out the latest in our Jordan release dates 2022 preview.
