Sneaker News Teased all the way back in June 2021, the Packer x Reebok Answer IV is officially set for its long-awaited arrival. Unofficially inspired by Prada’s game-changing Americas Cup luxury sneaker that debuted in 1997, this design is an homage to Allen Iverson’s choices in footwear fashion and features a near identical package of materials that mimic the Italian-made driving sneaker. Navy blue leather, silver-grey mesh, and accents of red surround the Answer IV silhouette, leaving us wondering if the Reebok basketball model did in fact look to the Americas Cup as a muse when it was initially designed. Packer has officially unveiled its collaboration as the “Ultramarine”, essentially setting the connection with the Americas Cup in stone.
This collaboration will launch exclusively at Packer on January 21st, 2022 for $180. Sizes from 6.5 up to 15 will be available. Further release date information is TBD.
