Michael Le Out of Jordan Brand’s vast catalog of offerings, you’d never think the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court would subvert its clean, somewhat formal look. But here, it’s doing just that, albeit subtly and only by way of the Wings embroidery.
The rest of the construction is quite the opposite, making use of the silhouette’s usual tumbled leathers. Both across the profile and along the counter, the material is finished in a light “Sail,” which contrasts the much brighter midsole just below. A darker tan suede, then, builds out the tongue and heel tab, the latter of which features the aforementioned Wings and its yellow-tined, fringed threading.
